  • Voyage operations manager.
  • Port development manager.

You can Google: maritime jobs in the UK to get a fair idea of the jobs available in the UK. This will give you a fair idea of the skillset which employers are looking for and the kind of salaries that one can expect.

Visa Procedure:

We will assist you with the visa procedure. The funds that you need to show for the visa will be the following:

  • Tuition Fees of £ 14,300 less any advance deposit paid to the University.
  • Living expenses of £9,207 for the student applicant.
  • An additional £ 6,120 per dependent (wife / child) accompanying you.

Any money you use for living expenses and fees needs to be in your account for a full 28 days. The most recent balance on the statement must be within one month of submitting your application. Source of funds is not questioned. You can show funds as cash in account, fixed deposits, educational loan sanction letter or a mix of the above. Not all banks are accepted by the UKVI office. We will guide you regarding the banks in which you can maintain the funds as the list keeps getting continuously updated.

The visa processing time is normally about 3 weeks. The length of the visa will be 16 months.

Students will be required to pay £470 per year as health insurance charges for the duration the visa will be granted. Family members applying for a dependant visa will also be required to pay the surcharge. For a 16 month’s visa, this works out to £626 per applicant. This payment has to be done online at the time of your visa application.

The student visa fee is £348, paid as an equivalent in your local or alternative currency.  Some Visa Application Centres (VACs) charge an additional ‘User pays fee’ of £55 and this is to allow smaller VACs to remain open.  If you do not wish to pay this additional fee then you will need to attend a different VAC. Each dependent accompanying the student applicant also has to pay the student visa fees. The student visa fees is paid online at the time of your visa application.
